About Lizzie Fanckboner

Lizzie Fanckboner is a third-year law student at the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law. She joined the Law Office of Lauren C. Davis as an intern in May of 2016 and has continued to work as a legal assistant since August of 2016. She graduated in 2005 from Colorado State University with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts, focusing on studio arts, and also received a Bachelor’s of Science in Justice Studies from Arizona State University in 2012. During her undergrad, she had the opportunity to study abroad in Italy, work as a teaching assistant, and intern at Interweave Press where she assisted the editorial staff and co-authored a feature article. Lizzie has also worked over a decade in the hospitality industry and as a senior teller in the banking industry. She will finish her last semester of law school working as a research assistant for DU Professor Michael Sousa as well as dedicating herself to learning the details of the state and local licensing procedures and experience processing marijuana licensing applications.

During her free time, Lizzie enjoys mountain biking, boating, reading, painting, and cheering on the Broncos with her husband.
